The weather is getting chilly this week! Please remember to send a jacket with your students.
SPGS will be in attendance on Veteran's Day this year. We want to take this opportunity to show all veterans our appreciation for their service to our country. In order to do this, we are going to offer a Veteran's Day Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. to any veteran associated with our school. This includes veterans who know one of our students and/or veterans who live in the South Pekin Community. Students who know a veteran (or veterans) are encouraged to invite them to the breakfast, and they will be able to eat with them. At the completion of the breakfast, we will have an all school assembly designed to show our veterans how much we appreciate them. All students are encouraged to invite a veteran to the breakfast. Breakfast RSVP's can be done by clicking on the link below. Students who are not able to invite a veteran, but would like their veteran honored on the smartboard during the assembly can submit their veteran's information to the office. We are looking forward to a great event!
