Many of our families have asked how they can get SPGS gear, and this link has a nice variety of items. The store will be open until August 19th, and items should be delivered to the school within a couple weeks from its closing.

We are quickly approaching the first day of the 2025-2026 school year! This is a reminder that Supply Drop Off/Meet the Teacher Night is this Monday (August 11th) from 5:00-7:00. We are looking forward to seeing all of our families!

It is hard to believe, but Monday kicks off the official start to extracurricular activities at SPGS!

Baseball tryouts will be held on Monday and Tuesday from 5:00-6:30 on the baseball diamond at the park. All 5th-8th grade boys are welcome to attend.

Official cross country practice will be held Monday-Friday of next week from 9:00-10:45. All 5th-8th grade boys and girls are welcome to participate in cross country.

Girls basketball open gyms will be held on Tuesday from 9:00-10:15, Thursday from 4:00-5:15 (prior to the All Sports Meeting), and Friday from 9:00-10:15. All 5th-8th grade girls are welcome to attend.

A big congratulations to Lily, Nataly, and Eli for being recognized for their outstanding achievements at last night's annual Rotary Scholastic Awards Night.

CONGRATS and GOOD LUCK to our State Track Qualifiers! The following students have qualified for this Friday and Saturday's 1A State Track Meet at Eastside Centre in East Peoria. Trey Mudd - High Jump Mason Summy-White - High Jump Corinne Berry - 4x100 Makinley Harms - 4x100 Macayla Hood - 4x100 Lily Blanchard - 4x100 Maci Murray - 4x100 as an alternate The boys will jump at 11:00 am on 5/16 and the girls will run at 10:30 am on 5/17. These athletes will also participate in the parade of champions on 5/16 at 10:15 am and 5/17 at 8:20 am. Please come out and cheer them on! GO TORNADOES! 🌪️
