Pekin Basketball Clinic
A key factor to a student's success in school is having good attendance. For this reason, we will have a variety of attendance based incentives throughout the school year. The first is earning an ice cream sandwich for perfect attendance during the month of September!

Junior high students are working hard on their math facts to earn yummy treats this year. Tay was our first student to complete XtraMath addition. Keep it up, Tornadoes! 🌪️

Elementary students had their first purple ticket drawing of the year! Students are able to earn purple tickets by making smart choices, being a good friend, staying quiet and listening to teachers, following directions, working hard, etc. Great job, Tornadoes! 🌪
Passing along on behalf of PCHS
The 1st PTO meeting of the year will be this Wednesday (August 19th) at 5:00 p.m. The main purpose of the meeting will be to talk about this year's carnival. All parents/guardians are invited. Please contact the office if you have any questions. I look forward to another great year!

This is a reminder that Meet the Teacher/Supply Drop Off Night is this evening from 5:00-7:00. All parents and students are invited!
The annual All Sports Meeting is tonight at 7:00 in the gymnasium. This is a mandatory meeting for all students (and at least one parent/guardian) who plan on participating in an extracurricular activity during the 2026-2027 school year. Parents and students should arrive in the gym at 6:45 to begin filling out paperwork. Coaches will join the meeting as soon as Supply Drop Off Night ends.
