Attention girls basketball players!

Attention all cross country runners!

Attention all baseball players!

We are in the process of determining whether or not we have enough players to field a 2026 baseball team. Please reach to Mr. Mingus (smingus@spgs.net) or Coach Hutchison (trevor.hutchison@yahoo.com) if your son would like to be a part of the baseball team. Baseball is open to boys in grades 5-8. Experience is not required.

Makinley Harms and Clarabelle Willock were recognized at tonight’s Rotary Banquet for being in the top 10% of their class. Clarabelle was also recognized for earning the Service Above Self Award. Way to go girls!

We had a great DARE graduation today! A big shout out to the local police agencies who allowed their K-9 officers to come to the school to show the graduates all the things that K-9's can do!

We are midway through our Coin Wars Fundraiser week, and everyone has pitched in to help raise money for some new playground toys/equipment. So far, students and families have helped raise $430! Classes are competing to win the following prizes:
1st place: Ice cream sundae bar party for the class
2nd place: Getting to silly string Mrs. Hudson
At the end of today, here are the rankings:
1st place: 4th grade
2nd place: 2nd grade
3rd place: 3rd grade
4th place: Kindergarten
Remember to add your coins to YOUR class's jar and sabotage other classes by putting dollar bill amounts in their jar- those bills take away points. Great effort so far!
