This is a reminder that today is a SIP day, and SPGS students will be dismissed at 11:15 for Christmas break. Students will return on January 6th. I hope all of our families have Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Today is a busy day for Tornadoes basketball! The girls are on the road, headed to Pleasant Valley, start time 5:00pm. The boys will take on Christian Life Academy at home, start time 4:30pm. Go Tornadoes!

South Pekin Grade School would like to thank all of the Veterans who attended our first annual Veterans Day Celebration. A special thank you to our guest speaker, Veteran and Mayor of East Peoria, John Kahl. This morning was a great reminder to all, of the sacrifices these men and women gave and continue to give for our country! It's a great day to be a Tornado!

This is a reminder that tomorrow is our 1st annual Veteran's Day breakfast. Doors to the gym open at 7:40, and breakfast will be served at 8:00. ALL veterans from the South Pekin community are invited!
