This is a reminder that Meet the Teacher/Supply Drop Off Night is this evening from 5:00-7:00. All parents and students are invited!

The annual All Sports Meeting is tonight at 7:00 in the gymnasium. This is a mandatory meeting for all students (and at least one parent/guardian) who plan on participating in an extracurricular activity during the 2026-2027 school year. Parents and students should arrive in the gym at 6:45 to begin filling out paperwork. Coaches will join the meeting as soon as Supply Drop Off Night ends.

This is a reminder that cross country starts tomorrow! Practice will be 9:00-10:15. All 5th-8th grade students are welcome to participate.

There will be boy's basketball open gyms tomorrow and Wednesday from 11:00-12:30. All 5th-8th grade boys interested in playing basketball are encouraged to attend.

2026-2027 Online Registration

Important information regarding Sun Meals.

Attention all volleyball players!

In cooperation with Tazewell County Health Department, U of I Extension, and Ujima Hunger Coalition, Midwest Central School District, South Pekin School District, and Delavan School District are offering free meals for children this summer. We will accept any school age child above 1 year that wants to come to this site as long as parent/ guardian has them registered. Please see the attached flier for registration and pick up location information.

This is a reminder that there is an open field on the baseball field at the park today from 5:30-7:00. All 5th-8th grade boys who are interested in playing baseball are encouraged to attend. The open field will be moved to the gym in the case of inclement weather/poor field conditions.

We are in the process of determining whether or not we have enough players to field a 2026 baseball team. Please reach to Mr. Mingus (smingus@spgs.net) or Coach Hutchison (trevor.hutchison@yahoo.com) if your son would like to be a part of the baseball team. Baseball is open to boys in grades 5-8. Experience is not required.
