South Pekin Grade School
School District #137
I am excited to report that we had 90 students earn an ice cream sandwich by having perfect attendance during the month of September! This is an awesome start to the school year, and I hope that the trend of positive school attendance continues. The focus for the month of October is going to be arriving to school on time. Students who arrive on time start the day on a positive note and do not miss important beginning of the school day routines and instruction. With that being said, students who do not receive any tardies (excused or unexcused) during the month of October will earn a movie and popcorn day. We look forward to another great month!

The school carnival will be held inside due to the potential of rain. There will still be games, inflatables, Kona Ice, and a food truck. We hope to see all of our families there!
