South Pekin Grade School

This is a reminder that, due to SPGS being a polling place, tomorrow is a Teacher's Institute Day. As a result, there is no school for SPGS students.

Due to blowing snow and poor road conditions, there will be no school today. There will be no e-learning. Stay safe and warm tornadoes.

This is a reminder that today is an 11:15 dismissal day due to parent teacher conferences. We are looking forward to seeing all of our families this afternoon/evening!

This week, our Focus on the Future Wednesday looks at colleges outside of Illinois. Do you have a favorite college from somewhere else in the country? Wear a shirt or those school colors to show your support!

Tomorrow, February 11th, starts our Focus on the Future Wednesdays! We are starting by focusing on 4-year colleges in Illinois. Tomorrow, we would like all staff and students to wear a shirt that represents a 4-year college in Illinois. If you do not have one, any college shirt will work! We can't wait to see all of the colleges represented!

Today was a busy day at SPGS! Elementary purple ticket winners got to eat ice cream at Culver's with Mr. Mingus, and 7th grade learned about fermentation by making bread in Science/STEM.

Kindergarten earned a Donut Party for their awesome MAP growth!🍩🎉
