This is Rich Homerin and he is a police officer in South Pekin.  He had to go school at U of I for cadet training, before he became an officer.  Rich is trained to watch for people breaking the law.  He knows when someone is speeding, because he uses a radar gun.  He carries a gun, handcuffs, and other items...to help him with his job.  He is also trained to help people who are hurt or in an accident.  Police officers carry a badge to let people know who they are.
