- Students in Mrs. Diehl's fourth grade class are making a quilt to depict
the town of South Pekin. The quilt includes some aspects of local history,
businesses then and now, government buildings, and other points of interest
in South Pekin. Students researched each aspect of the quilt by taking
a tour of the town, conducting interviews, and reading old newspaper clippings.
They created this web site to share they information they gathered.
