New England is famous for its changing seasons. Each season is important to the economy of the region. Tourists are attracted to the weather in the New England region. The weather in Vermont, like the rest of the New England region, changes a lot. Earthquakes occur in Maine and the Appalachian region on a steady basis.
 

Fall is a beautiful time of year to visit the New England region. The colors are amazing. Thousands of tourist travel to Vermont and Massachusetts to view the fall festival of colors.
 

Winter in the New England region is usually long and very cold. The northern part of the region gets a lot of snow. Snow is important to New England's economy. Ski resorts attract a lot of tourists. Outdoor recreation in the winter is popular.
 

Spring in the New England region is short. Spring weather brings beauty to the New England region. The apple trees, dogwood trees and other plants are in bloom. The waterfalls become stronger and more beautiful when the snow melts.
 

Summers are nice, but the temperatures are mild. Even though the temperature is not hot, people flock to the beaches. There are a lot of outdoor activities in the summer.
